He moves up to 130 fights a title holder and Top Rank hypes him up and start considering him the best in the division.

His career takes a BIG hit. Let alone now his aura is somewhat gone, but another KO / TKO doesn't retire him per say, but maybe moves up to 130 and becomes Broner 1st-2nd legit opponent.

It's amazing though that just 2-3 yrs ago they were putting Juan Ma so heavily over Cotto as far as what he would accomplish. SMH lol...

He'd eventually become another Fernando Vargas or Ricardo Mayorga.

JuanMa will fight on. But his following will be reduced to Kermit Cintron levels. The days of high expectations will be officially over and Lopez will probably languish in mediocrity. I'd be impressed if JuanMa ever climbed out of the psychological pit a second KO loss to the same opponent would cause. He would probably lose too much confidence.

Some fighters actually benifit from a loss. Maybe that's what that ****y fella needed.

This would be two loses...in a row...to the same opponent...by KO. It's not just any loss.

A lot of people, including me, have been calling it for a while now(that Lopez won't get too far cause of his chin and style). I remember the Concepcion and Mtagwa fights, that right there showed me everything I had to know about Lopez's future. Yeah he knocked out Concepcion, but got KD'd in the process, and yeah he survived journeyman Mtagwa, but had to go through a near death experience to do it. Salido just basically finished what Mtagwa couldn't do.

I gotta admit though, I was hyped about Lopez's career at first, but those 3 fights against pretty average fighters changed my mind.

I'm telling you.....if Lopez gets KO'd by Salido again, he's going to turn into Fernando Vargas or Ricardo Mayorga. A decent win on people's resume, and someone who looked really good early on, that's it.
