something like mccallum's if you ask me...
a bonafide HOF who would be underrated for the forseeable future...
he doesn't have the notoriety of erik and marco, the undefeated streak of PBF, or the big wins of manny...

Marquez' wins: Robbie Peden, Manuel Medina, Derrick Gainer, Orlando Salido, Victor Polo, Marco Antonio Barrera, Rocky Juarez, Joel Casamayor, Juan Diaz, and Michael Katsidis.
Marquez' losses and draws: Freddie Norwood, Manny Pacquiao I (draw), Chris John, Manny Pacquiao II, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao III.
It should be noted that JMM's fights with Norwood, John, and all 3 Pacquiao bouts, were all controversial. Most believe that Marquez beat Norwood, and many believe he beat John, and most believe he deserved at least one decision over Manny Pacquiao.
So, how do you see JMM??? An ATG and a HOF, HOF but not quite an ATG, or neither???
Anyone that can't at least agree that JMM is a HOF boxer and an ATG of the sport either doesn't like him for some personal reason or doesn't really follow the sport too much.

Marquez is an ATG and a HOF. You can't blame him for poor decisions. He beat Norwood and John, and deserved at least one Pacquiao decision, at the very least.
He's wons 6 titles in 3 weight classes. Casamayor was a pretty underrated win. Joel was not past it in 2008. He wasn't prime, but he was still good.
He can still get more wins as well.
