he has to defend by end of may. rahman took step aside money twice but he wanted his shot at povetkin in moscow. i believe it's 75\25 minimum on purse so rahman was smart to step aside twice. he got $250000 to step aside for boswell & i'm sure he got paid more by sauerland to stage 2 of his own guys. so rahman got 500000 to sit at home & watch povetkin in 2 more fights vs smaller heavyweights & he will probably get $500000 for this fight if not more. he is 39 but if he's in shape he could be very dangerous for povetkin. rahman is big & long. he has a great jab & big right. he can take a good punch & is very strong. he will lean on povetkin in the inside & wear him down. rahman has been 12 many times & has one punch knockout power. povetkin has never been in with a bigger & stronger heavyweight then himself. jason estrada is 240 but feather fisted. povetkin has a good left hook & that is rahman's biggest weakness. his inability to see the left hook coming. maskaev, lewis & klitschko all used it to beat rahman. povetkin will need to box rahman because if he gets brave he could be on his back. rahman is not boswell. he's had 6 stay busy fights waiting for this opportunity. rahman has been in with everyone & has not taken a beating in 4 years but has had 6 fights the last few years to keep his name out there. povetkin has something to prove & rahman is a 2 time champion so this could be a good fight. rahman has a good chance to knock him out. i don't think sasha has the power to put rahman on his back. he will need to outbox rahman over 12 rounds.

thought rahman was dead? what did they do dig him up? what a joke fight. boxing is confusing as all hell something stinks badly.Comment
