Perhaps Gamboa is having second thoughts about fighting Rios. Who cares about nickels and dimes when beating Rios means big money.

      not the same.
in the cotto/margarito, only a license was in the way of the fight.
in the rios/gamboa, license wasnt an/the issue.
its like comparing apples to oranges.

in the case of rios/gamboa, its the case of "was there/wassnt there" a fight contract? and with HBO having have a schedule to show the live fight on april 14, only a contract signed by both parties (gamboa/rios) wouldve made the april 14th HBO live fight event valid...im sure HBO dont put up fight schedules without having signed contracts by both parties.
