I don't even know why anyone is bringing up the Juanma situation as an excuse. That is very irrelevant. It is like for some ****** reason people are trying to take some of the blame from Gamboa for ducking and somehow place it on Arum or go "haha" on him.

Yes the Juanma fight didn't happen. They tried to seasoned it, and let it marinate it. And, they marinated for too long till' it backfired. It happens, sometimes it works like Leonard-Hearns -fans had to wait 2 more years for that fight for some of you Johnny ComeLately fans- sometimes it backfires like Gamboa-Juanma when Juanma got beat by Salido.

Thing is Gamboa can't sell out a ballroom. They finally got him a big fight that not only he could showcase his talent. But, maybe even be in line for a Pacquiao fight if he would have beaten Rios.

But, if he leaves Top Rank it is whatever. I will see it as him ducking Rios. You don't wait till the fight is signed and tickets go on sell to do this. So for him to pull this crap now, then fuck him.

If you think Bob let it marinate you're not seeing the big picture. Juanma is far more popular and brings in significantly more money than Gamboa. Bob protected his business interests and Juanma, he didn't just let it get bigger.
