why do idiots keep saying vitali was fighting with one hand? He was fighting with a hurt hand, but still had the use of it, there is a massive difference. Lennox Lewis was 38 years old at the time and fought a non stop line of murderous punchers in their primes. The few he didn't fight in their primes was still dangerous. Lewis also have immense boxing skills and a huge heart. Lewis stated even before the Vitali fight he didn't give a **** about the new generation of pathetic HW's he only cared about cleaning out his generation which he did.

I prayed that night and thanked God for saving Vitali's life and stopping the fight because I am a huge vitali fan man. I knew that night Vitali would have died in the ring and Wlad would have lost a brother and we K Bro fans would have lost one of our heroes. Lennox opening up the cut in close quarters with punches.. headbutts or even his hairbraids.. cuts that deep DON'T open up from HAIL MARY'S THROWN from a boxing stance.. they get opened up in close quarters while holding & hitting.. Ya I overstated the racism part that was my bad. I am a Vitali and Wlad fan.. That's why I always thought they can beat Tyson (any version of him)
But I also like Lennox Lewis because I felt he was always under appreciated much like the Klitschkos are now.
This is the most non biased way I can put my opinions:

1- Both K Bros have dominated this era but will probably be judged unfairly because competition is lacking. Not their fault. They are great human beings outside the ring and 1000x Mayweather's behavior.

2- Vitali was winning the fight against Lewis and was giving Lewis the toughest fight of Lewis's life. BUT, Lewis was fat old out of shape and GOING TO RETIRE anyways.

3- Vitali was cut bad, and who knows what would have happen if the fight went on. Now if Vitali was not cut. I think he would have beaten Lennox for sure that night, but the fact remains he was cut bad, and with one eye its very very tough to beat Lewis even a faded tired one.

4- Wladimir DOES look like a lesser version of Lennox Lewis in many many ways. It's not insult to Wlad, he just looks like a Lennox Junior. There's nothing to be ashamed of in that, a mountain lion is no African Lion but a mountain lion eat your ass nevertheless.

i feel like you're some kid stealing his mom's keyboard for the night. Prime Vitali beating PRIME lewis according to you is some Buster Douglas afterschool special. Do you NOT realize by now that Vitali is a peer of lennox.. He is in no way inferior.. These are two alltime greats we're talking about here. When all is said & done Vitali & Wlad will both be recognized as TOP 10 alltime greats no matter how we try to spin it now. as truth be told you can't even say there's been 3 or 4 more domiant champions than them... You have Louis.. Marciano & Holmes dominating there eras in similar emphatic fashion without a glitch... Every other heavyweight champion has had glitches during there championship reigns. The brother's can lay claim to being the two most dominating heavyweight fighters of alltime in the way they have dispatched & dismantled there opposition... no one has dominated in more emphatic fashion despite what you think of the era or the opposition.. at least we can admit this.... Vitali without a doubt other than an in jury bug is the least flawed heavyweight that's ever lived.. he's got over 20 heavyweight boxing records..... let's just blame all 20 on his lack of competition & poor opposition.
