a welter demanding a jr middle weight come down to welter to fight him and unwilling to meet half way isnt ducking?

Very few boxers in the lower divisions come in the ring at their natural weight. Most drain themselves to make the lower weight and then re-hydrates at fight night to get an advantage especially against a smaller fighter. Cotto would not be doing something unusual if he cuts down then re-hydrates afterwards. He would still come in bigger and heavier than Pac.

Did Cotto say he is willing to go down half way? Wouldn't that still be at CW?

Tatang, it seems as though you completely dodged my question.

Should Manny "step down" from boxing because he ducked Mayweather's negotiations in 2009/2010? You clearly said any fighter who avoids the best by ducking should step down.

the truth? the truth is that you ineptly attempted to make your hero shine by discrediting another fighter. they will fight, mark my words.

btw, your original post was one of the weakest pieces written on the forum in awhile. ...........Rockin'

That negotiation bogged down. They could not come to an agreement after several attempts to reach a compromise. Pac's camp decided that time was being wasted and he had to have a fight ready for March since he was going to start his campaign for a May election in the Philippines.

Go do some honest research before you post another ****** reply.

Read the topic carefully then come back and explain why ducking is good for boxing.

Bogged down due to what exactly? Was it about one camp deciding that they were going to refuse to partake in taking blood tests? Hmm seems a little fishy to me. Well, you said it yourself. A fighter who ducks the best competition should step down. Farewell Manny.
