lol props to Wlad having vigorous training camps for each of his fights knowing in the back of his head he would've beaten Mormeck and Thompson on the same day with only one training camp.

Thompson gave Wlad hell in the first fight. Wlad used the same tackle that fight as the fight vs Mormeck. I think Thompson may pull off the upset of the century. One can only hope for such a thing........

Because so few guys are willing to do anything but hum along and wait for a mando, here's the sad truth:

No one in the division right now actually DESERVES a shot or has EARNED one except Povetkin and maybe Fury. One doesn't seem to want it and the other readily admits he's not quite ready. Chambers earned one by beating Dimitrenko and Peter. Haye earned one with wins over Valuev and Ruiz. Chisora. Chisora earned one in getting robbed against Dimitrenko, who could have a case having beaten Peter and Lyakhovich (more than the other rising stars have done).

With that in mind, Wlad AND Vitali can take their mandos and then then guys who get them paid until someone proves their worth in the ring. Thompson fits the bill. Mandos suck but at least he has the track record to say he'll show up and try. Better than yesterday.

Not saying I like it. It's just not worth sweating.

The one decent thing about this is Thompson put a much better fight against Wlad then anyone has of recent time. Not saying he'll win but he'll likely make it rough and ugly for Wladimir, like he did the first time. Evidently in the first fight he evidently was fighting with a torn meniscus, which attributed to him falling early in their first fight....Who knows, maybe Thompson will make it even more of a fight than the first time around. With all that being said, everyone is right to be aggitated and/or disappointed given Wladimir did beat him convincingly the first time around.

I agree with this because Thompson actually outjabbed Wlad even though he got stopped with one punch and was losing badly on the cards.

He is a good fighter and would probably beat everyone else in the division not named Klitschko.

This is the price you pay to hold the gold.

I wonder if they'll have this in the U.S. because Emmanuel Steward mentioned on the boxing podcast a while back that Wlagimir wanted to fight here again with Arreola in mind. Since Thompson is American I wonder if they'll consider it.
