At the end of the day Mustafa should not have been there even if he didn't affect the results. No one can talk to the officials.

Either way, I thought Khan pretty clearly won the first fight. . I just don't see how somebody could have given Peterson the needed 6 rounds to win that fight (even with the EGREGIOUS point deductions). . . I gave him 4 rounds. . MAYBE you could give him 5 if you try. . But 6 is just unacceptable. It wasn't a ROBBERY, but it was definitely a JOBBERY. . .
Khan is LOADED you think sanctioning fees will affect him financially?
Peterson fought his heart out and won a close fight, your clearly overreacting with that jobbery nonsense. Not to mention he gave khan a rematch to shut his crying ass up. Never been much of a Peterson fan but for the sake of boxing I want him to **** this diva up

And yet nothing was done against a blatant robbery when Campillo lost his belt against Shumenov.

The ****** thing about this is that the mystery man was talking to a WBA official. If there was some cheating, the WBA guy would have been involved.

or when campillo lost to cloud how come nothing was done then. Boxing politics have always been around but this level of bs is getting rediculous. No wonder people dont want anything to do with this sport

What I personally find interesting about this is the fact that Marco Antonio Barrera was the recipient of the same bull****.

When Morales defeated Barrera and vacated his championship by moving up in weight, Barrera was "REAWARDED" his championship without ever having to fight anyone for it.

I've been reading some of the comments directed towards Khan and can't help but think how hypocritical some fans are.

Its fine for Barrera to have a title that he lost BESTOWED upon him, but somehow it shameful for Khan to have the same exact thing done.

I think both instances are shameful, but this just goes to further demonstrate the point I have been making about fan bias and favoritism playing a huge role in how fighter's accomplishments are weighed.

I hear "You are crazy if you think Barrera wasn't great" but I don't hear ANYONE mentioning the fact that he accepted a gift championship which only served to fraudulently enhance his resume.

I see Khan getting ****ted on here in this thread as if he's the only one to ever do it.

                Wake up, people.

idc if he was the only one to do it or not, its bull****. one doesnt excuse the other. just because barerra got special treatment doesnt make it ok for khan to receive the same, bull**** is bull**** no matter who it applies to.

So why didn't Golden Boy proceed with their appeal? It's obvious they had nothing.

I presume the difference is Barrera won the first Morales fight pretty convincingly.
