8oz gloves is an advantage for the faster fighter in Floyd who also happens to be the lighter puncher of the 2 by far. Cotto already proved he can **** with 10oz gloves and he will use timing more so than speed against Floyd so he doesnt need lighter gloves

Wont have a choice? Why? Contracts are signed and it is up to the WBA and NSAC. If he tells them no and go by the rules, they have to go by the rules and will not accommodate anyone.

pretty much exactly what i was going to say. I still don't understand how people think smaller gloves will only be an advantage to May and not Cotto, at the very least, it will make for a better fight, so stop ****ing complaining.

Sure, cotto could/would benefit from it in some ways. But all in all, it would benefit cotto way more in many ways for mayweather to have to use 10 oz gloves.

Either way im not gonna complain, as it will still be a good even fight. I dont believe it will be the difference in the fight.
