I don't think so. But, I'm not sure. Ross Greenburg is not running HBO anymore. Haymon nor Golden Boy really had any pull with Ken Hershman when he was running Showtime.

Ken Hershman is now running HBO. Maybe he will be happy dealing with them. But, I haven't seen any evidence of Golden Boy and/or Haymon having any pull with them.

Broner last fight was against Perez. Who's a decent opponent for an opener. You mentioned Gary Russell. Look where he is being televised next. Not HBO, he is being televised on Showtime next against TBA. On the undercard of Taylor vs a club fighter. Another Golden Boy Lara will be televised on the same card against F'ing Ronald Hearns FFS's.

Wow, did not know that. Thanks for the information, man.

Hershman did a great job with Showtime (who really showed up HBO for the last couple of years). I hope him going doesn't mean the disintegration of Showtime into Haymon's new play-thing.

Yes it is a move so he can be artificially manufactured and propagandized as a great MW while being protected.

Quillin also got hurt and went the distance with D.Miranda a guy that 38 year old Karmazin KO'd and Khurtsidze brutalized in 1 round. I know who Quillin is and one of the things that makes me skeptical about him is that he is utterly robotic, his game lacks any improvosational abilities whatsoever. It's like he is fighting from a script or some choreography he's memorized but because he's black and Cuban American i know you love him while despising Pirog and Proksa who are Slavic slickness personified, a quality you would rave about....if they were black.

I wanna see this "Kid," Quillin, do well. Pete seems like a good guy, and he's at least a solid fighter. Apparently, some big names think he has something on the ball; otherwise they wouldn't be wasting their time. Haymon may not be what's best for boxing, but Quillin has to do what's best for himself....
