why was there no rematch with de la hoya and floyd

    I went back and watched that fight about a month ago. It is boring, but it was not as one sided as people like to remember. Granted, De La Hoya had everything that was negotiable in his favor - lucky for Floyd, age and hand speed aren't negotiable items.

        Oscar offered floyd a 60million dollar guarantee. More than double what he made the 1st time around plus backend. Floyd was scared ****less of the close call and retired instead o of making up to 80mil.
