What was the reason the rematch fell through, Oscar/Floyd.

There was not much public demand for a rematch, and Oscar still wanted the lions share of the revenue.

Also the fight was being talked about @ 147 so it would have been pretty pointless, as Oscar would have been dead come fight night.

Cuz they would have been embarassed to have 1.5 million less ppv buys. That fight was excruciating.

They both talked afterwards on ESPN and discussed the same thing on air and Oscar said he had to tal to his family, because now his family comes first and fights later.

Yeah, I wouldnt have paid to see a rematch, but its clear that if Oscar fought floyd even 2 years earlier, he would have beat him easly.

money. Oscar was use to pimpin people while Floyd felt that he won, he created 24/7, and that he would be a big star after that so he wanted more then he got in the 1st fight and Oscar wasnt willing to pay

DLH was a broken and finished man. There was no point in the first fight let alone a re-match

Who in the hell wanted to see delahoja get his *ss handed to him again? Floyd put a whipping on his *ss, almost knocking him down at the end of the 4th rd, and dominating the rest of the fight! hoto got a split dec. cause everyone hates on FLOYD. Hoto didn't give FLOYD a rematch the same reason he didn't give TITO a rematch!! Scared to get his *ss hoe whipped again!!!!!
