Lennox lewis was 38 years old, fat unmotivated and faded, and he still beat Vitali. If he had given Vitali a rematch that will be a 39-40 year old fighter fighting a hungry young prime up and coming star. That's not wat a duck is and not what scared is.
SCARED IS when a 28 year old fighter or a 25 year old fighter suddnely quits after a beat down or avoids another fighter his age. Lennox cannot be ducking Vitali when the guy was almost 40 and retiring anyways. Not to mention he put a hole in Vitali's face.
These are true examples of 'scared' or 'being retired'
1-Rid**** Bowe ducking Lennox true duck ...
2- Tyson ducking Lennox in the 90's true duck (weather its king or tyson is up for debate)
3- Floyd and Pacquiao ducking each other
True examples of ' sending fighter into retirement'
You can say Bernard Hopkins send Trinidad into retirement because TITO was only 29 years old and arguably in his prime when he suffered that beat down. He went into retirement right after, that's a true 'retirement fight'.
