These werent my words they were Pac words in the ring before Arum got there and before the crowd booed him out of the ring but whatever. And if you want to say "what happened" then what happened to the stadium, havent heard much about it, and what happened to the Dr saying he couldnt do anything cause his cut takes over 6 months to heal?

He lost to JMM in the eyes of so many and the star isnt shining as bright anymore. Pac reputation took a hit and a big hit. Its no longer a 50/50 fight. Like i said 100% PPV revenue is wrong cause both are draws but its not a 50/50

Its like he keeps forgetting the talking point.

That said, he is doing this to a guy that just tried to lowball Miguel Cotto and force him down to 147-154 for a rematch. So its not like floyd is lowballing Mother Theresa or Martin Luther King.

The opinons here suggest floyd should do this and that for the fans, the good of the sport, etc. Its just as easy to ask manny to do the same.

I don't think floyd should make a 50/50 deal for those reasons. Only make that deal if the numbers say so. If that makes me a *****, gaywether, dvckrider , lawyer, ppv expert, accountantg blah blah blah I don't care.

When one of you comes up with a better plan I'm all for it.
Too much ego involved here. Manny is being badly advised by Arum who just wants to break Floyd's balls and Floyd is badly advising himself because he is looking to piss arum around and get one over on him.

Its a quagmire and given these are the sports most visible representatives, it shows the sport in a pretty bad light.

I always thought that what he's implying is that it's under his control.

          • I would've arranged it as 50/50 contingent on Pac passing the test.

If/when Pac fails the test it should be 60/40 in Floyd's favor.

That's not what keeping 100% of the revenue means. At all.

I respect this post. Floyd took the "high ground" with ODH. He took a **** deal to make the fight then sat back and watched 2.4 mil people buy the fight. floyd lost out on crazzy dough. He needs to get over that and make a reasonable deal where he gets a higher cut but Manny get at least $55-60 mil guarantee.

But manny needs to recognize while he has more value to floyd than any other ffighter, floyd has cotto, khan in england, and canelo next may (Martinez as well) where he can make MUCH MORE than manny over the next year and a half.

                Both have to give.

Floyd keeps his model, and guarantees Pac $60m sounds great for him. However, Arum will earn around $15mill which would be significantly less if there was a co-promotion between Top Rank and Floyd's model.

Here you go PACsmash inbetween the boos at the end of the interview he clearly says ok to May 5th. Then go look up With Arum next to him and youll see something different.

you really gone bonkers. floyd wasn't even one-half the level of oscar's draw when they fought. his deal back then is just for what it is back then for a secondary player or draw. any other fighter would get similar to what he got fighting oscar.

and you can also say floyd needs to recognize while manny still has value to him. it's the only fight he'll make his biggest revenue, no one else at the moment.

but manny could care less if floyd's going to earn more in the next 2 years, he's possibly fighting only 1 more time after bradley.
