I'll repost for you to read Manny sell more PPV than Floyd!!!!!! Floyd might have a slightly higher per fight average but it's easy math Manny fights more = more PPV buys... Floyd fights once every 15 months generating the same or slightly higher per fight numbers...

Pacquiao is the king of PPV he has sold more PPVs than Floyd... I think Floyd first PPV was against Gatti and his biggest fight came when he was a B-side fighter to De la Hoya... He has done big one fight numbers over the years because he marketed 3 fight as comming out of retirement fights... He has fought 4 times since June of '07 that's 4 times in 58 months an average of once ever 14.5 months... While during that same time Manny has fought 10 times that's once ever 5.8 months... They basically sold the same amount of one fight numbers during that time even with Floyd fighting Mexicans on Mexican holiday weekends... It's easy to ask your fans to shell out $60 once every 14.5 months versus $60 bucks every 5.8 months... During that time a Mayweather fan would only have to shell out $240 while a Pacquiao fan would have to shell out $540 a 125% more... (The Diaz fight was not on PPV).

So you have one guy who was the B-side of the biggest selling PPV and another guy who is the PPV king and has generated more revenue and has fought in front of more sellout crowds and is the most popular fighter in the world not just the ******.... I think Manny is being more than fair by even offering Floyd 50/50 or 45/45 winner takes extra 10%... The first black president invited Manny to the White House not Floyd... Nike/Jordan are signing Manny not Floyd... Floyd doesn't even have any endoresments and nobody knows him outside of U.S. ******s and boxing fans... Manny is a global icon and Floyd doesn't get it but why should we expect him too.. He's a 35 year old millionare heading to the joint on some BS.....

you don't even have to make it that complicated dude just look up the ppv buys for their last couple of fights. They clearly show that floyd is being unreasonable you don't need to go into the amount of time between fights or whatever

Dude we aren't kids. I am not blaming manny for anything. Have you read any other posts? How adults reach such childish coinclusions is beyond me. I just don't find it beleivable that Bob Arum would change a history of business practices for floyd mayweather when he doesn't have to.

I would have preferred that the fight between these two was never demanded. I was okay and I will be okay if they fight their own fights. Floyd actually felt the same way. He was a Pac fan and absolutely satisfied watching him in the ring. hehe...

I'd just leave Floyd alone if I were you guys. It's so clear that he never really wanted this fight. Pac would agree to everything he wants initially and Floyd would come up with another demand.

Interesting post. When manny and floyd were both B-sides, floyd doubled manny. When they are both A sides- floyd sells more with the same opponent. Manny had to fight JMM 3 times before he sold more than 1 mil ppv's with him. Floyd did it 1st time out.

Floyd pushed ODH more than 1 mil ppv's above his previous highest number.

Both sides are dug in on this yet one guy gets all the blame while another one is teflon. Both sides are at fault. Everybody has to take a side cause thats what we do in this country. It starts with the media and trinkles down threads like this one.

Its not up to anybody else except the fighters to say what kind of offer is reasonable and unreasonable. Not people like you or I who dont have to run a mile, who dont have to spar a round, and most importantly who dont get to cash a check. Im guilty of this myself.
