baby steps 1st they put in top prospects get them some exposure guys like Broner would benefit from this and then when advertising revenue gets bigger they could afford to put guys like Gamoa and Donaire on network TV

this is a huge 1st step imo

      THINK ABOUT IT GUYS .

Major networks expect major bouts for major ratings
No way in hell could goldenboy be dumb enough to put on bad fights if rating and contracts are on the line .
Its like ufc on fox on their first show they were forced to showcase a heavyweight title fight .

If it really is ABC , NBC , FOX or CBS Expect huge things everybody wins . Can you imagine what sponsors would have to pay to showcase on national tv etc... everybody makes cash no ppv is needed .

Now if its a deal with S P I K e tv , versus OR espn etc.... then dont expect much.

LOL had to edit because boxing scene censors S P I K E LOL

Man I hope you are right. Putting important fights on network television could really help boxing, that fanbase is still there that grew up watching boxing on free TV. My parents would love this.

People tend to forget that for about 25 years Boxing was the most viewed sport in America. It still is globally 2nd after Soccer. Klitschko vs. Haye granted that fight was dreadful was the most watched sporting event globally after anything soccer did.

In order to make this work, they'll have to do what the UFC did and put a major world title fight on air... For Free.. Hype it up, showcase some young tv friendly fighters in the undercard(maybe 2 fights) then proceed to have the main event afterwards. I would love to see this happen but I don't see it doing much help to the sport if it's just a FNF type cards.

It's all about the right fights. If I am just flipping through channels and I come across boxing on CBS if I see two guys punching each other's faces in I might just stay..........for good. Put on some little guys and make it happen.
