PBF by UD. Cotto increases his chances with a quick, stiff jab, and then working off that when opportunities arise (he wont' get many). Otherwise he gets countered all night. I'd love to see Miguel take it though.

I really think Cotto can win this fight or at the very least compete substantively. His work with the Cubano is a game changer for me; I seriously believe that he can actually win this fight. May, love or hate, the man is an ATG so a blowout defeat would not surprise me in the least. Great fight, I cannot wait!

We get it, you think you can win. Moving on. WAR COTTO...even though the odds are so against you and I would never bet on you beating Floyd. <__<

If an old dog like Mosley can hurt Floyd like what he did in the 2nd round of their fight, Miguel can do that too, and once Miguel hurts Floyd, he won't run out of gas like Shane did-- and Miguel will close the show. On cinco de mayo, the underdog will win, and it will be the upset of the year.

I have always thought Cotto was a good fighter, but I never thought he was a great fighter. I have followed his career from the beginning and believe that Arum, like he did with all of his fighters (including De La Hoya and Pacquaio), did a great job of matchmaking and non-matchmaking with Cotto. He avoided puttiing Cotto in the ring with Mayweather, Gatti and Hatton at 140 to protect him against potential defeat.

I believe that Chop Chop Corley could have beaten him if he had pressed the action when he had Cotto in trouble and Judah was on the verge of knocking Cotto out when Cotto nailed him with a low blow that Judah can still feel every time he takes a piss. I actually thought he would lose to Mosley and believe the fight was a lot closer than the scorecards indicated. I do think that he was a victim of cheating by Margarito and that he was was at a disadvantage due to the catchweight against Pacquaio and believe he could have beaten both of them if he had been competing on a fair playing field. However, I have always thought that Pac and Margarito were both overrated and also the recipients of great matchmaking by Arum. I believe Floyd will beat Cotto fairly easily -- not because Cotto is not a good fighter, but because Mayweather is significantly better. If they had fought at 140, Mayweather would have knocked him out.

It is good that Cotto is confident but once mayweather times his jab it's game over and target practice from then on. People are severly overrating this new trainer for real. he trained him for the marg fight but come on now dude had one eye before going into the fight and was slow at 147 and extremely slow at 154. Like I said once mayweather times his jab the right had will be cracking cotto the rest of the night.

Cotto is no scrub...I saw Ortiz getting to Mayweather. Cotto will look impressive against Floyd...much more so than the odds or the majority of posts would lead you to believe.

He's the toughest challenge of his career and he sees that. But no one he's ever faced will prepare him for what Floyd brings to the ring. Diaz will have him the best prepared he can be and Cotto's confidence is good to hear. WAR COTTO!
