For me it has got to be Floyd v Gatti for Gatti's title in Gatti's home town.
The beating Mayweather gave Gatti that night was one of the most one sided boxing matches in the history of the sport. Gatti must of landed one clean punch for the whole 6 rounds it lasted and was batterd, bruised and swelled up. It seemed like Gatti was pulled out the crowd and just put in the ring with Floyd.
That version of Floyd at 140 beats anyone hands down.
Mikkel Kessler vs Librado Andrade was bad, Andrade ate alot of hard shots in that fight.
Felt soooooooooooo bad for Vinny. That 6th round was just brutal, especially how Roy finished him. I remember Roy seemed genuinely concerned for Vinny after the fight.
Reminded me of Ali/Cleveland Williams, in that it was like watching a pro team play a middle school one.
Mayweather-Corrales easily. A TON of people were saying Diego Corrales was going to beat Floyd and it was pretty much a pick em fight with the betting odds I believe. Floyd f**king killed Corrales that fight. That version of Floyd at 130 beats any other Super Featherweight hands down.
Mayweather-Gatti is close too, but Gatti wasn't what he once was. Gatti was coming off good wins over Ward, Branco, Dorin, and Leija, but I'll go with Corrales.
The Floyd that fought Gatti would probably have beat any other Junior WW as well. I really don't see Chavez Sr, Pryor, Tszyu, De La Hoya, Cotto, Cervantes, Locche, Hatton, Ross, Loi, or any others beating him. Floyd's 140 career was so brief though, so who knows.
Castillo managed to get robbed when Floyd has one arm in their first fight.
JCC Sr. would have won clearly if he were in Castillo's shoes that night.
However, Floyd did clearly beat Castillo in the rematch, while having 2 healthy arms. I still think JCC Sr. had a good chance.
Now putting JCC Sr./Castillo aside.... let's bring out Roberto Duran.
I think he decisions Floyd in a nasty fight. Something like 115-113 for Duran.
