Why did Floyd refuse to fight in Oscar rematch?

Floyd never made more than what Oscar offered him.
    The split was still good.

Maybe Floyd fans can answer the question. Floyd fans are always asking why Pac dont rematch fighters, when Pac has given rematches to so many great fighters. Pac beat Cotto so convincinly, yet Floyd fans ask why dont he rematch cotto at 154 is he scared?

Floyd has rematched.....let me think, it is so many i will need time to think of all the names........oh yes, Castillo. And thats only cos he lost the first fight.

So according to you floyd rematched the only fight he lost. And avenged it. True champion. Pac brought up the cotto rematch. Pac rematches fighters he already beat. Whats the point

Whatever the reason, glad our time was saved from a rematch.

Well nobody wanted to see that fight. I don't know who's gonna change history now and call the rematch an anticipated fight or something, every barbershop, every ESPN analyst, every commentator were against the fight.

But, Floyd had a W over Oscar and thought he deserved more than last time, and Oscar didn't want to give him more. So the fight fell through.

Did you see how much Forbes touched him up at 150, and then did you see what Pac did to him at 147? De La Hoya was done. At least below 154, he was done. And DLH-Mayweather II was gonna happen at 147, where Oscar would have been weight drained.

I agree, who wanted to see that all over again? I didn't and it was obvious that wasn't a prime Oscar in there, he was at a very light weight for the first time in many years and it just wasn't good for him.

That fight would have been incredible if it was made 4 years prior.
