not really
he got caught once, and deserves all the scorn in the world for it
but Tony had 37 fights before Mosley
we're to believe that whole time he cheated w/out getting caught?
we're to believe that whole time he was killing people with plaster?
that's fucking ridiculous
We are supposed to believe he doesn't cheat against Cotto a fight he is a big underdog for? But he tried to cheat against old man Mosley a fight he was a big favourite for? Makes no sense.
His whole career has been called into question and rightly so the fact that he was even allowed to box again is a disgrace.Comment

won't claim to have that answer, could be anything
but that isn't proof he cheated
So we are supposed to believe the first time he tried to cheat he got caught?

he finally got to the top with the Cotto victory
and once he was there, he was willing to cheat to stay there
power/fame/money can corrupt people
the main argument on this is "Tony would have to cheat to beat Cotto"
that's ******
styles make fights; Tony shouldn't have been the underdog at allComment

first of all you fought marquez at catch weight and didnt bother to even make the weight , so by your theory you never beat him. cotto's last fight was at a catch weight because he felt he was too small for margs at 154. second, cotto looked damn good in the manny fight, he didnt look pale or dehydrated, but either way he has taken 2 huge beatings and has been to war more than a couple times where he has been nearly ko'd like his fight against torres.
i love the guy but he aint the same fighter as he once was. and you dodged him while he was actually undefeated and his prime, along with margs, williams, and mosley.Comment

I accept that you don't want to accuse him unless there is something that proves 100% that he cheated against Cotto, but I'm saying that the argument that he did cheat is more convincing to most the the argument that he didn't. In fact, there is no argument that he didn't cheat, there's only an argument that he mightn't have cheated. I wouldn't have thought that he'd have cheated against Mosley without doing that against a prime Cotto, but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.Comment

I believe Tony used those illegal wraps more than once quite possibly more than twice and his whole career has rightly been thrown into doubt he is a disgrace to boxing and should have never been allowed back into the ring.Comment
