Anyway, fight never happened because Bob Arum. Arum does not like negotiating with GBP fighters, he only likes in house fights.

Notice how the fight was instantly made the moment Cotto dropped from Top Rank?
How about because Cotto is past his best.

Really Floyd... I view you as being a scared little boy. And so does the boxing world. Pass it on!

but that doesn't prove Tony did anything shady in the 1st fight
his damn face just fell apart in the rematch
and Cotto was just fine at 145, Pac simply destroyed him
Cotto is a decent win for Floyd, no need to try hyping him up
I think it's quite obvious to even the most avid Margarito fans or the biggest Cotto haters out there that something was unusual in their first fight. Also, as Max Kellerman said after Cotto-Margarito 2, you can see why having loaded wraps would be a particularly good weapon for a fighter of Margarito's style to have, because he has great stamina and is a pressure fighter. But the pictures of the wraps confiscated before the Mosley fight are what proved it to me.

As for the Pacquiao defeat, I don't think the extra two pounds made much of a difference. I think Pacquiao had the right tactics on the night and just fought harder than Cotto did. I still think Miguel can beat him though, but he didn't deserve to win that night.

You can't write Cotto off against anyone. He is a world class fighter with great offensive skills, good punching power and an excellent jab. I'm not saying that he'll beat Floyd but it won't be as one sided as a lot of people seem to think, and he has a chance at an upset.

people need to get over that fight
Cotto just plain got beat, and now he got some payback
              it's pretty much settled
Honestly i think everything points towards Margarito cheating, there is a question mark over his whole career that's just the way it is.

Ok, whatever FLoyd. I see it that you are fighting an opponent that has been busted up twice illegally. Being busted up while weight drained to death there is no comeback. Cotto will never be the same ever again.

But hes still a threat to you as you arent all that great. You are overated.
I swear this guy Floyd reads everything on the net, and is a propagandist and he is trying to manufacture his career and legacy.

I'm sure Louis Resto would've stayed in the ring to celebrate had Billy Collins Sr not grabbed his glove by some coincidence. He was hardly gonna run out of the ring after winning the biggest fight of his life.

He would if the plasters look real similar to hand wraps. Are you serious? That's what convinced you that Margarito wasn't using plasters? Rather than the picture of the red mark on the same exact location on the wraps as the two fight PLUS that crack or hole which was also on the same spot.

                      what was unusual about it?
Cotto got discouraged, fatigued, and beat down
he didn't have the stamina/chin to sustain his effectiveness for 12 rds

                      not really
he got caught once, and deserves all the scorn in the world for it
but Tony had 37 fights before Mosley
we're to believe that whole time he cheated w/out getting caught?
we're to believe that whole time he was killing people with plaster?
                      that's fucking ridiculous
