Edit: Not to mention that this shouldn't be an issue for Pacquiao seeing as he's on record saying that he doesn't mind taking a smaller cut.

This fight is a potential 160mil+ PPV buys with potential gate receipt of 70-80mil, that is all excluding additional pays from sponsorships, so all in all, it is a potential 250-280mil superfight, half of that is 125-140mil... Even if you take out Arum's cut, the remaining would far exceeds the supposed 40million guarantee by Floyd... 40mil out of a 280mil revenue is so not fair!!! It's not even a 70-30 split!!! And as far as the Ortiz fight, OSDT was only the concern, Floyd said if Manny will submit to FULL OSDT, then we have a fight... So WTF now???!!!

Looking at pac's credentials that brand is strong and truly deserves at least an even split even can ask more than Floyd, but he knows 50/50 is the only way to get this fight done.. He is saleable that is why is marketed Globally with Top brands like NIke. This fight will not only generate money in the states. This is a whole world event. Massive market to share profit.

All the things you said about pac have no bearing on the financial purse split. As I said, the key for me is Bob Arum. Having watched him do business for close to 25 years, I know Bob would never ask for an even split if the numbers were in his fighter's favor.
