I think they're hyping Cotto too much to build up this fight. Cotto has about a 10% chance of winning...20% is being generous. I hate to talk down my fav boxer, but I do think he wants a nice payday, which he deserves, and i think it's great he's fighting 1 of the 2 p4p best, but i have a hard time believing Cotto really thinks he can beat Floyd.

if he does, all the power too him, my heart is with him, but my points are on Floyd...lol. This is 1 fight I would be very, very happy to pay if i lose.

There are several people like you, Fans of Cotto who just have no faith in him. I don't know how that works. Don't think he's doing it for a payday either or that he doesn't have confidence in himself. He's been saying since '07 that he's better than Floyd, he's on a you-tube saying this back when they were supposed to fight. He has his passion for boxing back (robbed of him Cheato) and a very dedicated and knowledgeable trainer who wants this win just as much as Cotto does. I think he has all the faith in the world to win. He isn't facing a powerful pressure puncher and they will develop a strategy to land Combo's during the promised exchanges. With that left jab and right cross Floyd is open to, I see Cotto being able to win via TKO. I mean, Ortiz was out-landed by a landslide but he showed how u can crack Floyd and get him on the ropes. And my boy actually has a jab and defense, Cotto will be hitting Floyd. It will be a great fight. Can't wait.

Floyd should just fight nobody because no matter who he fights, everyone bashes the fight saying the guy has no chance to beat Floyd. Even if it was Pac, floyd would be the favorite. Forget all that and just hope for a good fight.

I have faith in him, but I'm being realistic here..It's kinda like the Pac thing, everybody has confidence, but when you step in the ring to look at him coming at you, it's truth time. I had faith he'd beat Margo in the rematch, (won a bunch on that one), but in this weight class the elites are Floyd, Pac and Martinez, not neccesarily in that order.

But Cotto does not belong in that class. Look what Pac did to him. Cotto, if he ever was, is no longer among the elites, and we will see that when they fight. My :2 cents:.
