To me this is what seperates Pacquiao from the greats. The true greats of the past would fight the guy who the fans wanted to see or the guy who was the biggest threat. Pacquiao's career is being tarnished by his di****able promoter Arum and the leeches he calls Team Pacquiao. He needs to put his foot down and fight the best and quit making everyone around him rich with the safe fights. Bradley is a good start. Mayweather would have been a "great" start.
^^^ Honesty from an EXTREMELY RARE type of Pacfan.

Those are the exact reasons why any real boxing fan has a gripe with Manny Pacquiao.

No one has denied that the little dude doesn't come to fight.

No one denies that he is exciting to watch as he puts it all out there on the line.

People are just tired of him being touted among the best when he hasn't fought the best. His fights since JMM have all been crap, and he's looking for accolades for doing things under special conditions.

Its real easy to be a fan of watching Manny. He's fun to watch. It it however really hard to honestly buy into the bull**** that Arum has attached to Manny's legacy.

    Outstanding and honest post.

That was the most telling thing to me from that last episode. At the end of the fight no-one on team Pac looks as though they thought Pac had won. At least to me anyway.

One thing I didn't get in that interview & it might just be here but did this part make any sense:

"For me, as a boxer, if I don't care what the fans say, their satisfaction...."

      But then he says:

"But my concern is the fans."

It might just me but I didn't really understand that part.

Mannys knows that he cant take a loss to Floyd because half of his fanbase is Mayweather Hater Nation. And when he looses they will jump ship like extas in the movie Titanic. As long as he keeps his name in the conversation he can keep pimping his fans.

Regardless of who you thought won or lost the fight, what Roach said is 100% true. I don't think we see anything different and I believe that JMM has no chance of getting the win because he has to KO Pac in order to win and he can't do that.

It will be much of the same, the same dissatisfaction and the same discussion after the fight.

                Roach and Pacquiao are afraid!!!!

They can say whatever they want, they know they are afraid to loose to Marquez,
Marquez it's 1000 times more entrataining than Pernell Withaker and we all know what he did to Chavez!

Manny and Roach if you do not want to fight marquez we understand and for all of us MEXICANS it's a moral victory and it shows who's the best!!!!

Roach was right about one thing. Nacho and Marquez screwed up by coasting late in the fight. I had Marquez winning but you never tell your fighter, especially when he isn't the bread winner of the two, to "take it easy". I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that. Nacho is one of the greatest trainers of this generation. His contribution to the sport at the professional and amateur level has been as good if not better then anyone you can name but he did screw up there.

Yes Freddie we know u don't coast,Just ask Linares if only he had choose to back up a bit,More than likely he would have beat demarco + not got KO after you told him he needed to step on it even though he was miles ahead on the cards. It is becoming clear Freddie has no appreciation for defense and only knows + teaches his guys to go forward non stop.

True story, but neither has Floyd. Let's not do the double standard thing. Floyd has no excuse of a ****ty promoter for his weak opposition. Ortiz? Seriously, who gave that boy a chance? Old Mosley? Really? I like both fighters just calling it like I see it, both aren't sealed among the greatest b/c of their blatant cherry-picking.
