Camacho Sr. Fast women, fast cars, gold, coke, aids. #winning
Yes I agree with you.My choice is actually multiple, with Roy Hones, Macho Camacho, Benny Leonard, Emanuel Augustus, Jack Johnson, and Jack Dempsey and Laszo Papp . Maybe few more. There are lots of fighters I'd really like to see prime.
It makes more point to pick fighters from the past, legendary guys whom we've only read about, or seen in old films, and whom we've never seen in their primes.
To make a single choice, as the topic asks is far too tough. No matter who it might be, one would get tired of seeing the same fighter too often. Adulation and loonyness only lasts for so long.
I believe that Tito or Oscar prime at 147, beat Floyd. I don't see anyone on Floyd's resume to suggest otherwise. If you think Floyd beats those 2 prime at 147, good for you. I would never, ever bring up losses to Winky, or prime Shane or Sweet pea as anything to be ashamed of.
Both were huge welterweights, with genuine power. Oscar had speed a great jab & could pull the trigger at will.
Tito had the 1 punch power, stamina & agressive style made to sink small fighters.
read my last paragraph and a half after the word "hell" where you thought it ended. I explain that I dont hold those losses against anyone
