In the beginning Floyd was holding because he's allowed to do that. He held in the beginning to get a feel and when he did in the middle of the rounds he didn't hold anymore because Hatton started to hold. Floyd actually allowed Hatton to come in and he started to get countered like all Floyd opponents and he started to hold.
