This isn't exactly true. This fight was made in 91' and Tyson ended up going to prison for the **** conviction.

Classic Rid**** Bowe talking **** to Lennox, this is like a watered down version of Haye Chisora except these two guys got 100x the skills of haye chisora. Point being Rid**** was brave for all of 2 minutes in front of Lennox then ran away and never looked back.

Lennox to Bowe 'i'm gonna knock you out, bring it on man'.

That's how a TRUE CHAMPION trash talk and show confidence, not by brushing his hair or throwing tripods

If HBO had let Lewis fight on Showtime then the Tyson fight would have happened sooner.

I looked it up to be more accurate, the fight was a done deal for 1990 provided Tyson beat Douglas. That loss sunk the deal until after Holy beat Buster and the fight was made again with Tyson postponing because of a rib injury and than the **** happened, halting it till after he got out of prison. I don't think there is a strong basis to say Tyson ducked him.

@the poster with the picture of vitali in a pink dress : Dude rofl, I think you are talking about holyfield and Tyson. Not Lewis and Tyson. NOBODY said or even accuse Tyson of ducking Holyfield. Tyson is the one ducking Lewis. When the Douglas Lost happened, Lewis was still beating up fighters in Europe so obviously he was never in the equation. BUT when Tyson crawled out of prison Lewis was the clear #1 to fight him, and like HorseField said 'Tyson thought he was the easier fight'. Ironically he WAS THE EASIER FIGHT. It didn't matter cuz he still man handled Tyson lol

shut your ******, newbie ass up. I hate it when clowns come on here and talk ish for no reason. Im a man. Address me as one. I didnt disrespect you so dont come on here disrespecting me.

Did I ever say that they didnt duck him? The last line of the TS sentence was that it had nothing to do with money. He said that he just ducked him because it was the easier fight, not money at all and my point was that it was a combination of both. Seriously, stop making one out yourself

It could be argued that most the blame falls on their promoter and/or managers but if a fighter wants a fight it would be made in spite of their promoters desire to protect them. King twice paid Lewis step aside money and when that ran out Tyson gave up the WBC belt and Rock Newman wouldn't let Bowe anywhere near Lewis. But the boxing world pretty much knew the fighters themselfs were equally to blame.
