I think it will be civil, and the only arguing/animosity will be the standard "You say you will beat me, but when we get in the ring it will be different" kind of stuff coming from Floyd. I think they will be confident that a lot of Puerto Rican fans will buy PPVs, so they might not need to go over the top to do a hard sell.
They should be able to get an episode (or at least Floyd's half of an episode) out of each of the following without the need for trash talking with Cotto:
1) Ortiz fight
2) Legal issues
3) Family drama with Sr & Roger, etc

agree with 22k
If I remember correctly wasn't it Mayweather who said Cotto was basically still undefeated because of plaster and PEDs/wrap stacking? Or someone in Mayweather's camp. Anyway I think Mayweather does have profound respect for Cotto but will still throw in those jabs here and there in 24/7. As I said already, right now he's in full villain mode. People all around the world hate him and he might just have to thrive on that for this one.

I don't really see how he can bash Cotto without referring to the 2 fights I already mentioned, and in doing that he is giving credit to two fighters he calls cheaters.

1)His family loyalty (father passing, kids and wife etc.)
2)Both Marg fights and Pac fight
3)Ortiz fight as well to get his take on the whole thing
Excited for this fight, too bad it didn't happen 4 years ago but hey better late than never. I see Floyd winning a decision, but it not being an easy night.

doesnt respect some fighter he doesnt know or care about..
cotto was a warrior, but his physical prime has passed along with wars, wear
and tear and margacheato ruining him.
floyd will have no problem picking cotto apart with precision pot shotting
it will be a wide ud, boring, just like against jmm and an old shane, floyd
dominated those fights but they were boring... i mean how can floyd land
200 right hands on shane and not even buzz him?
either way, ppvs will lack and most buys will come from alvarez...
you wont find floyd robbing me for this ppv..
