They might be noobs or Brits as well, S_L, don't forget them.

As much love as I've got for old China Chops, it is a crushing shame that someone with such superlative athletic attributes never put them to the test.

Seriously, CC lovers, ask yourselves in your heart: while there's a very good chance that Roy could have beaten Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank (I'd suggest Roy would have won both bouts, though I'm by no means certain) wouldn't actually KNOWING be better than just saying "yes, but he would have won anyway."? The man was blessed with superb physical gifts but never put them to more than - in the main - glorified exhibitions. Roy will go into a HOF, but he never got his Zaire or Manilla. For his health, we can be grateful. For a man who never had a competitive bout that he won, we can't. A sad waste, really.

I dont think a man NEEDS to move up in weight. I dont think it's milking a division.

Eubank's own words on whether he would have beaten Roy, in his autobiography: "I doubt it."

But that was before we knew Roy Jones Jr. was the secret identity of China Chops.

Eubank (post-Watson) had the tools to beat Jones Jr, I'm not saying that he'd of used them (he probably wouldn't of) but he most certainly had the tools to win a wide UD against Jones Jr.

Pre-Watson Eubank would of definately stopped Jones Jr.

He didn't take boxing seriously enough. If Eddie Futch trained Eubank for Jones Jr and Futch worked Eubank's corner, Eubank would of beaten him. Heck, if I trained Eubank for Jones Jr and I worked Eubank's corner, Eubank would of beaten him.
