Does George Foreman belong in the top 10 heavyweights of all time?

George was the oldest heavweight to win a championship. Look at fight with Holyfield, he gave Holyfield a run for his money and he was in his 40s. Do you think he needs to be in the top ten.

lol, I thought you were coming up with an argument of why he should NOT be...

you basically pointed out his biggest accomplishment other than Frazier and his other great fights...

    I think so, yes

Foreman deserves to be top 5. It's a shame he only trained for 5 round fights earlier in his career, he woulda been the best heavy ever.

George almost beat a prime Evander Holyfield. So if a old George can give Evander problems think what a prime Foreman would do to fighters such as Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe.

Uh, let's be honest here - he didn't almost beat Evander - it wasn't even close. It was a game effort, but the outcome was never in doubt.

Having said that, I rank him in the top 10, just because of his incredible do-over at age 45. One of the greatest athletic accomplishments ever.
