No so simple to win back fans he lost and gain trust from HBO. Maybe some day he'll get the balls to fight Quillin...doubt it.

Although I like Lee and dislike Chavez and would love to pretend Lee would kick his ass I have to think Chavez would walk right through him.

Chavez is so much bigger and stronger than Vera and would be able to force the fight more effectively. Ever since that loss Lee has tried to be more of a boxer and it doesn't suit him because he needs to be a puncher as well.

He was completely outboxed by McEwan and only won the fight when he was desperate and went back to the old Andy Lee. I think even at his best he wouldn't be able to keep the 180 lb Chavez off of him and his 6'2 frame is a lot of body for Chavez to **** on.

Chavez is certainly ripe for the taking I just don't think Lee is the man to do it. The fight is would be good for TV and is good for business.

The fact that Chavez's team would hesitate to make the fight against a southpaw Lee is almost a dead giveaway that they do not intend to fight Martinez at any point.

If they were intending to honor that alleged "commitment" then how better to prepare for one of boxing's best southpaws than to fight a lesser southpaw leading up to it?

one thing is for sure, this is building up nicely. with all the let downs of a world title shot- lee knows when he finally gets one he will make sure it counts. Mentally winning every round against Brian Vera was a statement- i reckon chavez goes down b4 they reach round 8

              so sergio gets bumped again!?

it will be a appealing fight but sergio martinez would be a great fight as well and hopefully sergio wins against macklin that sergio would have definitely earned the right to fight for the wbc belt. boxing is disgusting! you can't earn **** here without the right connections! it's like the police force! sergio should get the next fight.

Quillin and Lee share 3 opponents and The Kid Chocolate made light work of all 3 compared to Lee. So my question to you is, who has Lee fought?

                As I stated before:
It's funny how Peter Quillin made light work of Craig McEwan while most commentators said Craig fought well. I'm not a "Triangle Theorist" but if I were:

                Quillin beats Echols.

Lucian Bute KO's "The Contender's" Jesse Brinkley in 9 rounds.
Peter Quillin TKO's Brinkley in 3. Jesse is heard after round 1, "He has power!"

Quillin TKO's Troy Lowry in 2.
Andy Lee TKO's Lowry in the 4th round 3 years after.

Andy Lee wins Dennis Sharpe by decision going the distance in a 6 rounder.
                Quillin TKO's Sharpe in 4.

Andy Lee TKO's McEwan in the 10th & final round just moments before losing by UD.
Quillin TKO's McEwan in 6 also on HBO.

Andy Lee is the #1 ranked Irishman out of 6 Middleweights.
Peter Quillin is the #1 ranked American out of 211 Middleweights.

Lee is 27-1, 19 KO's. 68% KO rating in 154 rounds. 8 fights in Europe vs who knows?
                Quillin is 26-0, 20 KO's. 77% KO rating in only 97 rounds.

                GET IT? GOT IT? GOOD!
