Sad event...

I personally would not want to receive treatment at a hospital in PR. Unfortunately, in an emergency like this, you have no alternative. Thruth is that medicine in PR is severly behind the curve and many lives that could otherwise be saved, are lost because of incompetent medical "professionals." Not saying anything could have been done for this young woman, but it makes me wonder knowing the standard of medical treatment over there.

There's a general lack of discipline permeating all aspects of PR culture, no matter what social status. No one likes to follow the law, no one wants to be courteous or respectful or mindful of others...

It's sad, but true.

I agree. I lived over there throughout my teens and visit every year and everytime that I go back I see things are worse. The culture is degrading. The youth is overweight on average. Lots of Mickey D's and Krispy Kremes. Lots of HIV and STD's. Lots of pregnant young people--too young IMO. Lots of police abuse. Lots of judmental people, gossip, and inconsiderate behavior.

Lots of hate, especially if you are foreign. No originality--people will steal your swag quicker than you can say "come at me bro!". You will see 20 Mofo's rocking the same damn Fox, Monster t-shirts and caps, and their iphone Otterboxes, on the same freakin day.

People dont care about the environment either--there is litter everywhere. Many hate on the "yankee" coming in and taking **** over, but that "yankee" takes better care of the island than most of the natives. Stray dogs everywhere, to include their carcasses all over the roads--ran over multiple times. These dog's should dream of "yankee" intervention, because the "yankee" knows how to treat animals much better in most cases. I can go on.

These are facts as seen with my eyes. If anyone don't like it then too bad. I'm 100% PR and proud, but I'm not ignorant or in denial.

"Puerto Rico lo hace mejor" nah--I don't think so. I've been arond the world, and have seen it done much better. Get your head out of your ass PR--who you crapping.
