Can't really claim a fame to this record either. Calzaghe has the better record i think but look what Lacy has done in 20 pro fights compared to Calzaghe's 40!

Calzaghe was screwed out of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics due to politics (the Welsh ABA refused to nominate him because they felt Joe was disrespectful the way he would drop his gloves and tap opponents on the head, and Ali shuffles etc). Robin Reid went to the Olympics instead of Joe, despite Joe having knocked out top Euro opponents that Reid had lost to.

Shame, Joe's speed would have suited it. I'll say one thing, Calzaghe doesn't really have much experience with defeat in his boxing career!

Joe's beaten everybody he's ever stepped into the ring with. Apparently the loss to the Romanian in Romania made Jones Jr's loss to Park Si-Hun look fair by comparison! And Smyth was a screwjob because Smyth's Dad was the referee.
