thats a lie...and wtf is wrong with ****iness??? nothing at all. as long as ur willing to back it up, be as ****y as u want to be. the kid is 22 and hes not being babied along at all. compare that to canelo etc. ppl just hate the kid for silly reasons. i mean the guy comes rite out and says im willing to fight him, him and him, those are great fights and hes ****y? oh i guess he should just sit back and be diminutive and quiet rite?
Adrien Broner is going to put in some work tomorrow

not feeling this kid at all. There is a sense of entitlement about him that irks me. Had he a few big wins under his belt and faced a better sense of opposition then maybe I could warm up to him but damn seeing shit like this, especially when he hasn't done anything, kind of ruins it
the hair brushing etc is a facade, obviously. it's a gimmick, like a sales pitch from a big car lot. it leaves an impression and sticks with you. i think he's a bit of a showman and nothing more.
i do think that he's humble where it matters, and that he trains and takes fights like a guy who doesnt have things handed to him.
and on an unrelated note:
as hard as broner might try, he does not fight like floyd
floyd controls every second of every round. he's a ring general. he knows what YOU are going to do, because he's setting it up with what he does
broner holds his hands a bit like floyd, but all he's looking to do is react. you can back him up, make him bite on feints. floyd is looking to control you.
he's LIGHTYEARS beyond broner.
broner is a sharpshooter, with a ton of handspeed and very sudden power not befitting of a man build like broner with athletic gifts centered around speed.
they do not fight alike. they have a similar presentation at times, but you have evaluate them in boxing terms, and not what they look like in the mirror.Comment

and I won't compare him to Rios because I know where my biases lie but IMO ur off about the 10xs bit sounds more like disdain than anythingComment

has a belt
has been a HBO his last three fights (now 4 with this fight)
and wait Vanes says he is willing to fight him and him and him and we collectively as fans clown him
until he actually steps up to fight these guys he calls out then we have somethingComment

what exactly has he done to heap the self praise? point it out so I can understand. He hasn't beaten anyone of significance, his only test was to a natural 126lb fighter where many people thought Broner lost, and for the most part he got on TV not because he earned it but because of his manager Al Haymon. Wanting and actually doing are two very different things so until he does (and Perez is a start) then all this is hot air with little substance.

and IMO it may not be fair that his career is now being displayed on TV way too quick for his age and experience but it is what its much like Canelo

but he talks like a 30-0 two time champ when in reality he is a 22-0 kid with a lot to prove

I dispute that 100% he hasn't faced anyone of note at 130 and yet

i have nothing against rios. i dont think hes that good, but all his outta the ring antics are just him being a silly 25 year old. im the same age about, i get it. im alittle more mature but its all good. but broner is even younger, and he believes in his talent. honestly i really dont see the issue. a show man is a showman is a showman. hes a showman with talent. nothing new about that. and i dont have any issue with it as long as he says and does the right things and really, its simply hard to argue that he hasnt. he fights just about anyone and hes willing to fight just about anyone. what haymon does for him aside, the kid isnt looking for breaks or gimmies even perez isnt a gimmie. he didnt want the belt handed to him, he wanted that burns fight. i just dont get it.
cmon the belt was handed to him he fought Rodriguez, a guy who fought one time outside of Argentina and lost, in a fight where people knew literally nothing about him.
and he hasn't fought anyone as yet. Again Perez is a right step but for Broner's own sake this should have been his TV debut NOT fighting PDL a career 126lb fighterComment

ive never clowned vanes. so what fans do really doesnt matter much to me, vanes has talent but he wastes it. totally different situation. and u cant say hes not faced anyone of note at 130 when he just beat litzau who is clearly of note because he was a top 10 fighter when broner beat him and like i said, burns ran from him. broner didnt hide from that fight, thats not on him.Comment

short of the Roach thing what else was there? even then he asked Freddie for forgiveness and Roach did
