Chavez is the baddest man on the planet and the undisputed Middleweight champion. Murray, Strum, Martinez, Lee whoever - it simply doesn't matter. The result will always be the same; Chavez with the strap around his waist and his opponent in hospital for months on end. That's why Martinez has been running from Chavez for 2 years and fighting 150lb goatfarmers - he's not as dumb as he looks. He knows Chavez retires him.

Respect? Two weeks before defending the WBC middleweight championship of the world he goes out and gets drunk! Does anybody know if the WBC took any action, a fine or something? What a kick in the teeth for all the fighters that dedicate their lives to boxing staying away from alchahol and other vices but never get the exposure or earn anything like the purses this bum has just because of his name. He obviously has no respect for the sport or the legacy of other middleweight champions that have preceeded him.
Boxings sanctioning bodies and promoters are as corrupt as ever and when they're done milking Chavez he'll be left wasted and desolate on the street like so many other champions before him, only difference is this punk will deserve it
