I'm not counting Pac out. In fact, I'm not even counting Cotto out. But when I predict fights, I look at more than one being the defensive fighter and the other being an offensive fighter. I look at the invisible things such as adaptability, versatility and mentality as well as the visible things such as speed, power, and timing.

When I take all this into consideration, I have no choice but to think Floyd is going to win. Logically, I am going to choose Floyd. He can adapt. So even if he does get rocked by Pacquiao, I can bet that he probably won't get rocked like that again. Floyd's best punch, the straight right, is a southpaw's weakness. And yes, Marquez and Floyd are nothing alike, but let's not pretend that Pacquiao has trouble against Marquez simply because he is Marquez. Don't tell me that Pacquiao isn't getting hit with counter punches because it clearly shows that he is. Even against Clottey, the few times that Clottey hit Pacquiao were in fact, counter punches.

Then you might be thinking, Pacquiao's punch output will overwhelm Floyd. Punch outputs will decrease if you keep getting counter punched. Counter punches also causes frustration. I've seen Pacquiao get frustrated in fights before. I can't say the same thing for Mayweather.

Pacquiao relies on speed and aggression more than anything. What is the perfect counter for speed and aggression? Timing and accuracy. A jab or a straight right, or even the check hook at the right time is all it takes to stop an opponent in his tracks. When you watch Pacquiao's fights and you notice the Pacquiao's famous hair flops as his head snaps back, you are seeing the result of timing and accuracy. This in turn causes a fighter to hesitate.

So scientifically aka logically aka realistically, I have to believe that Mayweather is going to win.
Makes sense, but you forgot to mention an orthodox stance weakness is a straight left. A potent weapon of choice of pac, But I do know that Floyd's straight right is lethal as well but not as strong.

Marquez timed his crouch everytime pac fired the straight left. Marquez I think is small enough to crouch and dodge the straight left but I do think Floyd can't do a crouch move like marquez. Floyd will get hit with the Left all day. Evident with a similar style zab who got those left in so many times. And pac is a better version of zab. And we all know what happens when you get hit by pac's missile. Ask ssm, he backed pedaled. pac is best at pressuring an opponent. In the 4th round Ortiz did good at bullying Floyd.

Pac can do even better compared to these guys. Just saying this is a toss-up fight. I respect your thoughts of you thinking floyd will win, but to not see how pac can also win is silly. Pac has the arsenal to beat floyd.

    • As swipe Bradly already getting ready for his next fight huh? Pacquiao fight is already made, he will make his $$, so now he's looking at Floyd. Bradley should use his skull more on things like this rather than using it as a 3rd fist in his fights.

You have to factor in size and reach as well. That, along with Mayweather's other attributes; I see Pac having a really hard time trying to cope.

I think Pac will have some of his moments in the fight, if it's ever made, but overall I really do see Floyd dominating him.

        • Bradley may be right. Floyd is the best.

It just so sad the best can't fight an average boxer without dumping tons of roadblocks. I'd be the most disappointed and frustrated man right now if I were a Floyd fan.

Floyd the best is denying me the chance to see my idol beat the amateurish midget.

I see no outrage from the ***** community.

Dude that video clearly shows Mayweather throwing air punches 5 or 6 times. Tell me how he'll KO Pac with those. Look at how Mayweather punches, he swings his arms from the sides. I understand why he keeps ducking Pacquiao. Who would want to beaten up like Cotto or Margarito? Especially Floyd hates getting beat up, that's why he keeps running around the ring all night avoiding punches.

            • What I want to see from the ***** community is take all this debating energy to Floyd and present it the way they present it here: Pac is really not that good, he fought nothing but bums, there's no need to dump tons of roadblocks in this fight, you can beat him....

Make fantasy become a reality is all I'm saying.

You know, I agree with you. He "might" be right. And that WE WILL NEVER really know, until the match is made. For somebody claiming to be the best, then he should test himself with the other best that is now being listed by multiple boxing websites as #1 P4P. until then, KEEP DREAMING Floyd.

Exactly, If ortiz can do that. What more if it's the Pacman.

btw, Ortiz sparred with pac and got owned several times.

Yeah that's the weird thing about this place. These people who love Floyd aren't even frustrated that their man doesn't want an easy fight which everyone wants to see? The irony aye..

                    Just shows..

You have to see it in the point of view of Floyd who seems to be having cold feet. a master boxer who can't seem to accept a fight with pac. He sees something in pac that's giving him the chills. Only the master combatants can see whats up..

They are both masters in the boxing world 2 of the best fighters in the world. The analogy of samurai warriors depicts how masters thinks before a fight takes place.

A master samurai knows before engaging into a sword fight if he is going to win or if he is going to die even before a fight takes place.. I sense Floyd knows pac is going to give him hell Hence the road blocks..

You, me or anyone else can't really tell who will win this fight. Only the masters knows whats up.. same as a samurai master knows if he is in it for a real battle.. Floyd knows Pac's style will give him fits.. Hence, the road blocks.Floyd saw something in Pac's style that's giving him the cold feet..

This fight is a fight of 2 master samurai warriors. And that is why everyone wants to see this super fight.. 2 of the best fighting it out.. sadly i feel it will never happen..

                    ......

We all know the deal breaker is the uneven split. In business it only takes one big issue to break a deal. Seems like Floyd has gone more than one and pac's patience is getting thinner every time he goes for another road block.
