I think the pressure from losing big fights to Showtime has forced HBO to make these sorts of concessions, if its true.

Thought it was gonna be something like, when he fights, they can't be ringside commentating. It's not that bad, really. Lampley is a good commentator who doesn't need to talk about gossip to entertain his viewers. Merchant is a hater who bores me to death.
