Because the very first thing that Arum did after the Marquez fight was to slam the door on Mayweather. GBP approached Arum through Judge Daniel Weinstein and were told that "we are not interested in entering into negotiations with Mayweather because we are whole-heartedly pursuing a 4th fight with Marquez"..... a fight that, surprise, surprise, did not eventuate.
