Initially Arum made some demands and date changes which was overruled by Pac's phone coversation. Yes Arum is an idiot for ruining the first part of negotiations but soon was out of the picture when the two spoke over the phone.

I am not a Pac fan and definitely not a Mayweather fan but it was obvious that the phone conversation between the two was accurately quoted. Pac agreed to everything but wanted 50%, Mayweather said "no" how about 40 mil, Pac said "no". Pac later said I will guarantee you 50 mil or 60/40 winner take the larger purse in which May said "no". These statements where never denied by either side.

GBP approached Arum through Judge Daniel Weinstein and were told that "we are not interested in entering into negotiations with Mayweather because we are whole-heartedly pursuing a 4th fight with Marquez"..... a fight that, surprise, surprise, did not eventuate.
