this is why i dont talk to ppl who dont really know basketball...they repeat the same **** they hear on espn and assume it to be truth. wat lin has done is quite amazing over a short stretch, with that said, its not really as special as u dudes make it out to be. sure hes looked impressive over the last 8 games or so, and thats with him being a starter for the first time, with that said, hes not a rookie. why ppl act like he is is beyond me. Success??? lets see how he finishes the season before we start this tim tebow **** all over again. its an amazing story, sure, but a lot of it, mebbe not all of it, is hype.

The UFC is nothing more than a glorified promotionL company with their own fighters, that make their own matchups with their own ppvs.

They are essentialls a top rank in the world of mma (only much more of a monopoly than Top Rank has over boxing).

U know what though, from a fans perspecitve, at least Dana does what he needs to do in order to put on the fights that the fans actually want to see unlike in boxing where certain fights that us fans have absolutely no interest in are shoved down our throats. I'd rather watch a guy in MMA lose 3/5 fights while fighting the top dogs in his division rather than watch a guy like JCC Jr pad his record while fighting dishwashers and taxi drivers. Truth is, boxing would be in a MUCH better state if it were run like the UFC.
