Ummmm..... Every fighter other than Pacquiao and their momma's said that they would take the tests. Mosley (a known cheat), Ortiz and now Cotto is taking the random blood tests to fight Mayweather. Pac is supposed to be the P4P best and he made such an issue about it and even sued? You Pac supporters are the most gullible people on the planet. Now you are coming with this lame excuse that he knew Pac would refuse because he doesn't bend to Mayweather? Doesn't that mean he didn't want the fight that bad? What about 10MIL penalty over 147? That don't sound like something a fighter would agree to. Floyd did though. You guys are idiots. It was the talk with Pacquiao when he first used that demand. Then he had to continue with the demand with other fighters so as not to look like a hypocrite. Obviously the others would jump at the chance to make their biggest pay day. That's the whole purpose why they are in the fight game, to make money.

There was never any intention on Mayweather to actually make the fight with Pacquiao and we're seeing the continuation of that.

George Peterson a close associate of Al Haymon was quoted in Dec 2009 "that fight will never happen" he would not disclose why he said that but he said "I can't say anymore but some fights are just not meant to happen". He obviously knew something was up.

Quick question, if Pacquiao requested random blood testing, you would be on here boasting how righteous he is and how he's a pioneer trying to clean up the sport of boxing.

It blows my mind that even after the ridiculous amount of excuses that came out of Pacquiaos camp the last 2 months that people are still blaming Floyd for the fight not happening - as if Top Rank was ever serious about making a fight with Floyd to begin with. Floyd and Pacquiao had a 2 minute conversation. Floyd is obviously a promoter and wants to make the most money possible. We can't say for sure whether or not Floyd ACTUALLY wouldn't accept a 50/50 split because Top Rank didn't want to negotiate with Mayweather's camp.

That said, I'm not really surprised that people will fall for whatever spin Pacquiaos camp comes up with. At least Floyd had the balls to admit that he offered Pacquiao 40 million dollars and live with the consequences. Pacquiao and his camp have fabricated so many stories that its insulting to anyone with any hint of intelligence.

Pacquiao straightened that out real fast, he offered Mayweather a bigger amount at 50 million. Obviously Mayweather rejected it. He also rejected 55/45 to the winner. Pacquiao is also open to winner take all. We know that definitely will not be accepted.

So whatever happened to "Just take the test and we have a fight". I thought that was the biggest obstacle as far as Mayweather's side was concerned. And all his ***** legion fans kept harping the same thing for 2 years, "take the test and we have a fight". So what happened now that it's no longer an issue?

If he is a promoter like floyd, why does he have to go through top rank?

If you run all the numbers, floyd has earned the right to get slightly more. Now $40 mil is low considering the projected revenue for this fight, but it is still significantly more than manny has ever made. Obviously no cut of the ppv is unfair.

The camps wont split the costs evenly. Floyd and TR will split costs so floyds money is as a promoter and fighter (like ODH when he fought floyd) and manny's is as a fighter only.

You wont EVER admit it, but if the numbers showed manny generating more, he and Bob would NEVER offer an even split. They want 50/50 because they know thats higher than the numbers say they deserve.

So why does Floyd have to get GBP to promote his fights?

He asked that to make sure Mayweather will seriously try and make weight. Don't forget he went 4 lbs over in his previous fight. Mayweather didn't even contest it and try to bring that figure down.

Floyd is a joke and a clown who is on his way to jail.... He is an after thought and his criminal behavior and his willingness to not fight the best will out shine his greatness in the ring... He doesn't understand that it's the humility of a Jeremy Lin or a Manny Pacquiao that endears them to the American media and the fact that they were breaking records... That fact that they are Asian is anymore important than mentioning the race of the Williams sisters or Tiger Woods... Manny fought all the top guys in his prime and weight class... He fought Marquez, Morales, and Barerra 8 times... Floyd hasn't fought the top 3 in a weight class since 130 back in 2001...
