If he is a promoter like floyd, why does he have to go through top rank?

If you run all the numbers, floyd has earned the right to get slightly more. Now $40 mil is low considering the projected revenue for this fight, but it is still significantly more than manny has ever made. Obviously no cut of the ppv is unfair.

The camps wont split the costs evenly. Floyd and TR will split costs so floyds money is as a promoter and fighter (like ODH when he fought floyd) and manny's is as a fighter only.

You wont EVER admit it, but if the numbers showed manny generating more, he and Bob would NEVER offer an even split. They want 50/50 because they know thats higher than the numbers say they deserve.

Same thing could be said against Void, if he's a promoter what is Golden Boy involved in his affairs?

If you run the numbers which has been done numerous times, the more reason it should be done 50-50 split.

As long as the match ups are good who cares...fans dont! Idiots tend to stretch it a bit when so much emphasis is put on Promotions. Thats whet they do. Not just top rank does this Golden boy , Duva, DiBella a lot of guys do this. So what! You have to be insane to believe that a promoter wont go outside his promotion and collaborate with another promotion to make money. As a fan...i can care less what they do. TRUE.....Oscar in 08, TRUE......Hatton in 09 and FALSE on Mosley. Shane left Golden Boy to make the fight with Pac. Bob Arum has went on record to say that he does not want to business with any other promoter and fighters would have to leave their promoters in order to work with him. That's a fact AND it was said after Oscar and Hatton.
