you want to know what running is ? here

Haye was fighting out of Wlad's punching distance which is way out of Haye's punching distant with his shorter reach. If Wlad would had pressed faster Haye would had ran faster. Don't see your point in him not running cause he was backing up the whole fight.

Instead of him defeating Wlad's style he adjusted to his style to evade and not get hit, but where was the offense? No traps, no tactics, no push, no pressure, etc to get Wlad out of his comfort zone

Like Roger Mayweather says "Most people don't know **** about boxing".

Hayes plan was to piss Wlad off pre fight and have him go for a KO and make mistakes. Wlad didn't fall for it and fought a careful fight.

Hayes plan also based on Wlads suspect chin, as it turned out Haye got him with a couple of good shots a d Wlad took them.

Hayes was never going to win decision and was never going to win throwing careless bombs.

Haye wasn't that far off winning he just couldn't quite land that one fight changing shot. Wlad was too patient, to smart, too big and his chin held up.

I don't see how Haye getting himself KOed early helps his chances of winning

I see so many people using this argument to criticise Haye, his career, plus using it to bash him in terms of not deserving another pay day, and robbing the public. But I knew how the fight would go, I knew the problems Wlad presented to Haye and vice versa, it was always going to be a chess match. You have one guy who is a single punch counterpuncher, and another guy who likes to fight at range and ties up in close. Both fighters have stamina issues and questionable chins.

I am certain that Haye thought he would knock Wlad out, but he couldn't do it on the night because Wlad fought a brilliant fight and used his superior technique to nullify Haye Yes he talked a lot to sell the fight, but why did you as "hardcore" boxing fans buy into the hype?

Why do you feel he deserves so much critiscm when 90% of his career was very entertaining and full of knockouts. I am not trying to patronise anyone or defend Haye or his career, because everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I would genuinely like answers. I think he is an extremely talented (but flawed) fighter, and he has a good career, and I also think a lot of people on here twist facts to hate on him.
        Hi David Haye

I think people exaggerate how bad his performance was. He was in the fight until the later rounds and still got some good shots in during the 12th. His big problem was that he never stunned Wlad badly enough to jump on him.

Haye did not attack until the last round, even then it was too late. He boxed okay while losing but he did not take the risk to win, he did not 'leave it all in the ring'.

He then blamed an injury (his toe of all things) as if the fight wasn't enough to bore everyone to tears.

In his own words 'I talked the talk, but I didn't walk the walk'.

I've always said that he didn't do as bad as people say he did.

Yes, I was disappointed in his performance and the fact that he never truly gave it a go. BUT, he did outland Wlad in terms of power punches, he made him miss all night long pretty much and hurt him a bit in the last round.

He lost fair and square, but he wasn't really dominated. It was sad that he didn't give it his all though.

Haye is underrated wlad is underated.

Wlad fought the perfect fight, he used his superior size to control the distance with his jab.

Only if haye was bigger would he have had a chance
