Floyd is a dumb **** outside the ring, but a pure technician in the ring. The way he adapts to different styles is a beauty. I still wish he challenged himself alot more several years back and not play the retirement game with us. Overall, I have no problem with him inside the ring, outside, like I said before..he is a dumb **** and if some ppl want to hate him for that, then thats on them!
DOnt know how Pacquiao made it into this topic but I Love watching Pacquiao too. No problems here with the Pacman.
I dont know how some ppl feel they need to take a side and bash the other. Both are great fighters and the best in this era.Comment

I like Mayweather because he's the boss in the ring. I have watched his fights again and again and seen him do stuff which other boxers don't. Like someone says earlier on in the thread, he is the blueprint for young fighters. After the fight you don't see him battered or bruised much because he barely gets hit.
Boxing is an art and I consider Floyd to be an artist who is right on top of his game.Comment

What He does in his personal life is his business. Bottom line is that I'm a boxing fan and I love to see the guy dominating his opponents with pure skill.Comment

Im a fan because his style is unique. He's also a hard worker which makes me like him even more. Hate him or love him , he will be missed when he's gone from the boxing game.

I like his intelligence and skill. I also admire his work ethic.
He acknowledges that GOD is the one who gave him the ability that he has and he uses it, and is successful with it.
When Floyd gets in the ring with what people consider to be elite fighters he makes it look like they can't fight. After that, people don't think that they are elite anymore. In the VAST majority of his fights, he completely shut out all of his opponents.Comment

JCC, Pac, even Floyd fought allot of bums under Arum...Floyd became his own boss and cherrypicked better opponents than Pac..but the thing is, Arum always knew Floyd was unbeatable either way, this is why Floyd has more of a legitamate legacy, cuz Arum still had Floyd fight allot of real fighters....with Pac, and JCC, Arum knows that they only look good against certain styles....this is why he didnt fight mark johnson, or tim austyn....avoided julio diaz and joan guzmen...avoided 40 yr old Mosley that Floyd cherrypicked, Avoided Berto and claimed he was a small ppv draw, opting to fight Margarita and Oldsley...Avoided Marquez, cherrypicked him at 40, still lost, and is now re-avoiding him all over again....I like Pac I just want him to realize his greatness and fight someone like Berto, Floyd, Ortiz maybe....If Pac would have did Mosley and Marquez3, like he did Margarito and Cotto, it would be a great arguement to say he's one of the best...but struggling against those cherries, set him back so I dunno about him being one of the greatest...it takes time, and now he has to start all over again beginning with Bradley who is too small and will get KO'd in 3 roundsIts okay to call JCCjr garbage but not Floyd huh ? lol you just made yourself look not to good! And those fighters you listed....lol of course hes gonna look good fighting them... they're tomato cans b-c class fighters. and old past prime...My sister would look good fighting them!
