showtime would probably pay for the fight, 60-40 in favor of your guy and get the fight done.

Why dont you guys say, he is too damn good and we dont want to risk it.

This is why boxing is going to shit right!!

I understand, Im a amateur fighter my self!! Like I said I dont only blame you!!

I just use it as an example. I know Mares has other options that would benefit him $$$$ better.

But you get guys with a real name, like Juanma Lopez(didnt fought gamboa or Caballero) and fought olivier and Mtagwa and Donaire who says Rigo aint a name, but will fight Terrazas on july 14th. Thats some BS.

      Whats your take on that?

That's understandable. Thank you for taking the time to post here. I look forward to watching Abner at 122. Mares fighting Arce on the Pac undercard and Mares fighting Donaire in September in the Philippines would be huge for Mares. But I know I'm dreaming since their Top Rank fighters.

Donaire - Mares is my dream matchup at 122.

One day you will understand if you decide to turn pro. You would want someone looking out for your best interests as well. Doesn't mean you won't be willing to fight the best.

I hear you on that. In fact, in reality a Rigo vs Donaire would be easier to make since they are both under the same promoter.

Its not impossible. We realize it will be difficult to make. But we will try our best when the time is right.

are you really this biased to use a 19 year old fighter's first ten fights vs a 28 year old's?

you do realize the circumstances between the two dictated who they faced in their first 9 fights right?

your argument on this holds no weight at all

Maybe trying to compare their resume wasnt fair for either guy.

I was just trying to say, that for the amount of fights that Rigo have as a pro, his resume is very decent!!

Does he needs to build his resume some more? Yes he do.

I just dont want this guys, to pull a Juanma Lopez or to be fair what most fighter are doing to day, and thats saying so and so dont bring $$$$, to go and fight some unknown scrub that is less known than the fighter they ducked!!
