    Abner Mares wants Jorge Arce

Abner mentioned to me today that he would like to fight Jorge Arce in the near future. I think that would be a great fight! We will try and make that fight.

Abner started his first day of sparring today and looked good. He will move his Camp to Mexico in about a week. He fights on April 21st.

Tell Abner if he appreciates his career to not do this to himself.

If Golden Boy fighter Abner Mares can get a fight with a Top Rank fighter like Arce then he should try to get a fight with Donaire too. Darchinyan, Yohnny, Agbeko and Donaire on his resume would be very impressive.

Arce is planning to fight on the Pac-Bradley undercard. Arce-Mares on this card. make it happen.

How come I have yet to see someone come out and say, I want Rigondeaux? He has a belt, and he won't be an easy fight for anyone. Arce is a great champion, but let's be real, he has little chance at winning a fight with any elite fighters in his division (though WV2 was a very good win for him). Mares and Arce would be a fun fight to watch though.

From our side. Rigo doesn't bring enough money to the table. Arce has a bigger name. And although Rigo is a champion he hasn't really defeated anyone with a big name. Still a tough fight though!

Huh? Im sorry but WTF does Mares brings to the table?

showtime would probably pay for the fight, 60-40 in favor of your guy and get the fight done.

Why dont you guys say, he is too damn good and we dont want to risk it.

This is why boxing is going to shit right!!

By the way i dont only blame you, I blame GBPs Dibella, Shaw and Arum(wich is a ****ing scumbag).

haha Yea, of course you don't mind. Your a fan. We look out for our fighter best interests. Abner has already proven by entering the tournament he is willing to fight anyone. But this is a business and fighters put their life on the line.
