    Chisora's Punishment

According to broadcasters in the UK, the BBBC may hand out a life-time boxing ban on Chisora for the post fight brawl.

Do you think this would be justified or is this all media hype?

Personally, I think his licence should be suspended for 1 year as an example. Before he vs Vitali I was a fan of Chisora, but he has put shame on the sport and more painfully for me-British Boxing. Yes, it's got people talking, but for all the wrong reasons. In this case any press is definitely NOT good press.

For the love of the sport I hope he gets banned but not for life. This would be massively heavy-handed punishment.

As for Haye-he had his chance to shine against Wlad and all he as achieved since his good cruiserweight career is in running his mouth and making a joke out of the fans trust. He is a pure salesman with no care for the sport and he has proven once again that nothing that comes out of his big mouth can be taken truthfully. I hope he disappears back to his Kingdom of make-believe where he is still heavyweight champ and where he actually lived up to his own delusions of granduer.

Both Haye and Chisora are ******ed.

No way. Chisora is a true gentleman he is just a showman. He didnt kill anyone or attempt to like Panama Lewis did or Luis Resto or floyd.

A 1 month suspension or something like that would be okay if they want to make some sort of statement but hey this is the sport of boxing .. a sport that revolves around fighting. This is not ballet.

Chisora shouldn't get any punishment. People who don't like his wild antics are just politically correct sensitive wusses.

Chisora is good for the sport, he brings attention and excitement.

I agree with you up to a point Bombs. I just think that the effect this has had on the wider publics view is terrible. I haven't read one opinion in the wider press that doesn't brand the incident 'disgusting' or 'disgraceful' and ultimately it was.

The sport needs show-man like Chisora, but not to this level. It makes the sport look juvenile and thuggish. These guys are ment to be at the pinnacle of the HW division, not cheap bar brawlers. We could go out and watch that any night of the week.

1 month ban would do nothing to acknowledge the level of ******ity involved.

A life-long ban is just wrong, what he did was no worse than what happened before Tyson-Lewis or Lewis-Rahman II, and boxing is Chisora's job. Give him a short ban and a fine but don't ruin his career.

I would give both of them a 1 year ban. Most boxers at this level fight only 2 or 3 fights a year, so a 1 year ban wouldn't be completely exaggerated IMO.

1 Month? WTF 1 month is like saying "You can do whatever you want and I'm only going to suspend you for 1 month, in which btw you were just going to rest"

              Hell no.

But enyone that punches him in the face when he walkes up to them should never be charged on enything.

He is desperately asking for trouble IMO

I wouldn't ban either of them. And if they do, I'm not watching another fight based in Britain until their suspensions expire.

Was he being a true gent whilst slapping his girlfriend about? No. DelBoy is far from a gentleman, you ask Johnny Oliver if he is.

His antics at the weigh-in i can understand, it got people charged for the fight, but spitting water all over WKs face, aside from being hilarious, was completely out of line, regardless of the hand wrapping fiasco that took place earlier.

The dust up with Haye was embarrassing. Both he and Haye were soundly beaten and this just looked bad for British boxing. It was cringe worthy to say the least.

Totally agree with you man. No one can legitametely defend what happened, it wasn't good for the boxers and it wasn't good for boxing. Simple as that.

Just because boxing is the fight-game doesn't mean that not liking a pathetic brawl makes you a pu$$y. That looked like kids in the playground while the Klit bros were chilling looking like bossmen.

Equally the Klit's wooden personalities does nothing for the division but rather them than this crap.
