P-Will proved he isn't washed up and this completely legitimizes that win. Hopefully Lara either gets a rematch or gets a fight with Delvin Rodriguez both would be great fights
Erslandy Lara is the real deal

I was hoping that Paul's victory might raise the significance of Lara's win over him, but it doesn't look like many people were overly impressed. I would say that Williams's latest outing strengthens Lara's performance, but "completely legitimizes" seems too optimistic.Comment

There are two things that we need to understand. The Punisher has always had problems with southpaws. That's what Lara is.
The second thing is Lara himself got a lucky break with Molina. It's not like he is without his own damn controversy.
So there's no need to $h!t on the Lara-Punisher controversy when Lara had his own against Molina. However Lara did beat Paul & Molina did beat Lara.Comment

thats the same williams we've always seen.
The difference from last night versus lara/sergio is that he was fighting an orthodox fighter who isn't a counter puncher.
Put Williams in the right with Lara again or any other southpaw and he'll die.Comment

lara-molina has nothing to do with lara vs williams though, so it's silly to bring it up.There are two things that we need to understand. The Punisher has always had problems with southpaws. That's what Lara is.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Lara vs Molina is it's own discussion, it's own bad decision, has nothing to do with the robbery that was lara-williams.Comment

I wasn't saying 2 wrongs make a right. I'm simply reminding the ts that Lara himself got a break against Molina. Since he's talking about how much of a real deal Lara is. Lara isn't the second coming, period.Comment
