The guy is in his forties FFS! Decades of wear and tear have taken their toll, NOT substance abuse.

I never said it was substance abuse. It could certainly just be wear and tear. But he has a history of injuries that are common with steroid abuse. Add to the fact he has been caught juicing before and it is reasonable speculation.

There had to be a reason why he didn't knock Chisora out. Fury bullied Chisora so a fit Vitali should be able to stop him. Chisora vs. Arreola?

He said nothing about his injury the post fight interviews and gave Chisora credit for fighting a good, competitive fight. Only now as the medical reports of his injury are coming up the rumors get confirmed but still Vitali hasn't lost a single word about it. You gotta give him credit for that.
He did mention it when asked and said lets wait until it gets confirmed by the doctors ... but he didn't want to use it as an excuse ... but he did state it as an issue.

Chisora was bobbing, weaving and bending low as to avoid Vitali's punches. Similar to Byrd, Vitali was missing a lot especially in the early part of the fight and it may have given Vitali problems. Vitali readjusted and thru less jabs.

team vitali are SNEAKY SLIMEY snakes.........the only reason he didn't complain about this injury post fight is because he knew he would get flamed. he WAITED afterwards to get a idiot docter to release this pathetic excuse for an injury. a INJURY THATS LESS SERIOUS THEN HAYES PINKY TOE.

are you ****ing kidding me HAHAHAHAAHAHHA!

We don't know how torn it was, and even so, nothing is better than natural healing. Otherwise, he would have HAD surgery. It could even be torn muscle fibres, not serious but very painful. I know......

Are you accusing the World Champion, a proven lion, fighting an ordinary 15-2 pug, of planning in advance to stop using his left after rd 2 (as all rd by rd descriptions of the fight mentioned) because he wanted to claim an injury. I suppose the specialist spent 10 years studying to learn Theosophy.......

You sound like a conspiracy loony, this site is crawling with them.
YOUR blowing hot air from your hurt butt hahahaha

i wouldn't speak on anything that I myself didn't go through. trust me. if vitali even had anything CLOSE to an actual torn ligament he would have no other choice but to under go surgery

"Surgery for this area usually means sewing the torn ligament together or back to it’s attachment to the bone. While for a tear of one of these ligaments this may be the only way to get the two ends back together"

this tells me that vitali only had a SLIGHT spec of a tear. hayes toe was more serious.....(I'm literally not joking) i am not buying any of this crap.......once i saw that the doctor said no surgery is needed i knew that it was a MINOR problem.
